1. The terms used in this privacy statement and defined in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) have the meaning assigned to them in the AVG Act.
2. We only use the personal data for the purposes described in this privacy statement (basis). This is lawful and transparent.
3. We express our privacy statement in clear and clear language and do not try to hide any information. We are also clear about what data we process and how we do it. That is specific and clear.

Below you will find an overview of the personal data, goals, principles and retention periods that we process per category. We also indicate per category with whom your data is shared.

Customer data

Personal data and goals:

1. Personal data: Name and address details (first name, last name, address, zip code, place of residence, country)
   Purpose: For the execution of the agreement, invoicing, identification, maintaining the customer relationship and carrying out direct marketing activities.
2. Personal data: Contact and additional personal data (e-mail address, telephone number , gender)
   Purpose: To communicate with each other, to address you correctly, to provide support, to notify you of changes in products/services, to carry out direct marketing activities.
3. Personal data: Payment details (bank account number, VAT number)
   Purpose: To process your payment processing and for the reverse charge VAT if your company is located outside the Netherlands.

Basis (legal basis) for the processing: Necessary for the execution of the agreement (click here for more information). Conducting direct marketing activities (we send you offers of similar products or services or tips about the products or services purchased) falls under “legitimate interest” (click here for more information).

Retention period: Up to one month after termination of the agreement (click here for more information). We keep your invoices for the legal retention period.

With whom is your data shared: With us, Resengo BV, our reservation software supplier and GraagGoedOnline.nl BV, our website supplier. They are recipients or processors of the personal data. We have concluded a processing agreement with both GraagGoedOnline.nl BV and Resengo BV (view processing agreement with GraagGoedOnline.nl and view processing agreement with Resengo BV).

Who your data is shared with: With us and Google. We have set the Google Analytics cookies in a privacy-friendly manner in accordance with the 'Manual for the privacy-friendly setting of Google Analytics' as made available by the Dutch Data Protection Authority. For the Google Analytics cookies, this means that Grandcafé Markt 14 i) has concluded a processing agreement with Google, ii) masks the last octet of your IP address, iii) has turned off 'data sharing' so that Google does not use the personal data obtained for its own purposes. (Google may only use it for technical support) and iv) not use other Google services in conjunction with Google unless otherwise specified in the "Marketing & Tracking Cookies" section. Personal data and purposes: For example, you can contact us via a web form. Each web form has one clear purpose and if a form contains an additional purpose (for example, subscribing to the newsletter), we will ask for additional permission. By filling in the form you give us permission to process the requested personal data. For this we mainly use name and address details, the telephone number and an e-mail address.

Basis (legal basis) for the processing: Consent given by completing the form or ticking the box to give consent for an additional purpose (click here for more information). You can withdraw your consent by submitting this via the relevant web form or by sending an email to info@markt14.nl.

Retention period: We keep the data until we are sure that you are satisfied with our response. If the contact leads to an assignment, we will keep the data for a maximum of one month after the termination of the agreement (click here for more information). We keep your invoices for the legal retention period.

With whom is your data shared: With us, Resengo BV, our reservation software supplier and GraagGoedOnline.nl BV, our website supplier. Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about visitors younger than 16 years old. Unless they have parental or guardian permission. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without this permission, please contact us via info@markt14.nl and we will delete this information.

Automated decision making

Grandcafé Markt 14 does not make decisions based on automated processing on matters that can have (significant) consequences for people. These are decisions taken by computer programs or systems, without involving a person (for example an employee of Grandcafé Markt 14).

View, modify or delete data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Grandcafé Markt 14 and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we have about you in a computer file to you or another organization mentioned by you.

You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or request for withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to info@markt14.nl. To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity with the request. Make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN) black in this copy. This is to protect your privacy.

We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks. Grandcafé Markt 14 would also like to point out that you have the opportunity to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority. If you have a complaint about how we or our sub-processors handle your personal data, we ask you to discuss this with us first, so that we can see if we can solve or adjust this to your satisfaction. If we are unable to reach that point, you can always submit a complaint to the supervisory authority.

How we protect personal data

Grandcafé Markt 14 takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. Both we and our suppliers (processors) will make every effort to take appropriate technical and organizational measures with regard to the security of personal data.
